Strategies
- Use "Anger" and "Calm" together to really annoy your enemy. As you play "Anger" (and inflict 8 damage), hold on to "Calm" for a fast retreat and the ability to draw a new hand. This is often a good tactic to use when your hand is full of minor character cards once Padmé has died.
- Use "Wrath" to take out pesky minor characters rather than wasting your attack cards. It can kill any dark side minor character in 1 turn (except Zam Wessell), and it also allows for fast movement into enemy territory when used strategically. "Wrath" can also be useful for escape if there is a lot of distance between a dark side major character and his minor characters.
- Use "Counterattack" wisely. Its ability to stop excessive damage is useful, particularly against an opponent like Darth Maul or Count Dooku. But it is almost always wisest to save it for the second attack of a player's turn, since most players tend to attack hardest once they've drawn out your defense cards.
- Padmé is expendable. Use her as aggressively as possible to chip away points from major characters, but don't worry too much if she dies within the first few turns. While Padmé can really hurt your opponents, she can also draw fire away from Anakin, allowing him to move in quickly and finish the game (which helps to compensate for Anakin's low defense).
- Use Padmé's range to draw out defense cards. Since she has the ability to seriously injure an opponent, most players will cautiously defend against any of her attacks. Don't be shy about using her weak attacks, either; unless you're playing to keep Padmé alive, you won't need their defense values.
